Cindy Fans of Idle Muse can expect to be challenged by this wonderfully absorbing production. You may have many questions at the end of the first act (sort of like undoing all the cobwebs a bit and all your notions about MacBeth and Shakespeare). But, the second act really delivers, and I might add, brilliantly. It will forc...e you to reconsider and conjure up all you can about Shakespeare, the time he lived, the original play this is based upon. This would be a WONDERFUL outing for a class studying Shakespeare and MacBeth. Could really get young minds working hard and foster fabulous discussions. Thank you Idle Muse for all your hard work and talent!

Idle Muse Theatre Company Idle Muse Theatre Company presents the first in its ongoing series of classic works adapted for small performance spaces with a stunning re-envisioning of Shakespeare’s seminal tragedy, MacBeth. What the Weird Sisters Saw re-cuts and refocuses the original text to tell the story of three women we will eventually come t...o know as the “secret, black, and midnight hags.” Viewed through the lens of Weird Sisters’ confused visions, the classic tale of ambition and murder unfolds, taking a look at the events that might have led up to the fateful prophecy on the blasted heath if the story began in a different place. Drawn entirely from the Bard’s own words, What the Weird Sisters Saw is a sharp and magical examination of fate, will, and the desire to know.

Mallory Weber Looks first rate.

Sally Schreiber Looks like interesting work! I'm a big fan of theater.

Cindy Congratulations on your current run of St. Scarlet. It is good to see that your group can tackle varied materials. Here's hoping for the next production to be in line with Evan Jackson's forte for tackling complicated and audience-challenging creations that you would not expect to see anywhere else.

Christina Christ Congratulations on a great show! I wish I could be in town to see it!
