Royster Week featured Toronto's very own Rodney Clark as he was inducted into the Oyster Hall of Fame at this celebration hosted by ChicaGourmets and Shaw's. Eamon Clark shucked some of his dad's most delicious oysters from the Canadian Maritime Islands and they were the hit of the reception. Chef Arnie Tellez presente...d some of Rodney's special recipes for the 3-course dinner to follow paired with exceptional wines. "Are you ready?"... it was tense and dense around the raw bar as all the week's winners from Schaumburg and Chicago gathered to compete for the best 4 top slurpers to proceed out to the tent. Sean, Mike, Sam, and Tim with "Cinderella" slurper Jon Ashby made it. This is the instant replay... does it answer the judges ru...lings, not really, but we all know who won the Big One, what a night to remember.

The after party in the Oyster Bar was what Chicago is all about... new friends, fun memories and a great place to meet.
