Snow Days Chicago SNOW DAYS CHICAGO will be back. Look for it a little earlier next year as the festival begins at 4pm - 8pm on Friday January 29 and then continues on that Saturday and Sunday, January 30-31, 11am-8pm.

After many hours, the artists had completed their vision and the public was voting. The winner, A Bug's Life. Chicago Blues in Snow came in second followed by Max and The Wild Thing.

Snow Days Chicago 15 teams of professional sculptors are creating their masterpieces out of 10 ft blocks of snow, competing for prize money. Seven Chicago area high schools are participating as exhibition, working with blocks 6ft tall.

Snow Days Chicago Here is a little taste of what's in store for Snow Days Chicago 2009! These amazing snow sculptures were made during Snow Visions' 2008 Snow Sculpting Competition. Each sculpture is made from a 10' tall block of snow and carved into shape over a four-day period.

Come and watch the Green Valley Dog Drivers as they demonstrate dog sledding with Huskies! The dogs will be running laps around a snowy trail in the heart of Grant Park.
Demonstrations will take place each day from 12pm-6pm (hourly).

Some of the best young snowboarders in the country from the Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park USASA Team demonstrate their skills on a full-size rail and ramp. Watch these young professionals jump and slide in the air.
