WHAT: Join Texas de Brazil and Meals on Wheels Chicago as they host the Inaugural Food/Drink Editor Caipirinha Contest to kick off Brazil’s largest annual celebration, Carnival. Watch as Chicago’s food/drink editors compete to create the best Caipirinha, Brazil’s signature cocktail. Contestants include food/drin...k editors from, Chicago Sun Times, Chicago Social, Chicago Scene, PLATE Magazine and Chicagoist. Guests will enjoy delicious appetizers from the Texas de Brazil menu and an open bar of beer, wine and Caipirinhas from 6-8pm (full cash bar available until 9pm.) Texas de Brazil’s signature wine artist will decorate the event with acrobatic flips and tumbles in the 2 story wine room. Event proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels Chicago.
