CFHI is thrilled to offer 10 partial scholarships for spring 2010 programs to provide partial funding for qualified students towards our global education programs. CFHI Spring 20010 Scholarships are used to help fund January- May 2010 global health education programs.

What is CFHI?
Child Family Health International--CFHI is a 501(c)3 nonprofit which provides socially responsible global health service-learning programs for health sciences students and recent graduates. Programs are 4-12 weeks long with departure dates every month. CFHI participants gain cultural awareness and cultivat...e existing clinical skills while immersed in the local healthcare workforce, transforming perspectives about themselves, global health, & healing.
SPECIAL EVENT:
CFHI will be hosting a wine and cheese happy hour for students, advisors, CFHI alumni, etc. at our downtown San Francisco office on Friday December 18th from 4-7pm. All interested are invited to attend!

Reproductive Health program gives students the opportunity to
participate in clinical rotations that are focused strictly on
reproductive and women's health. Students will be able to observe how
reproductive healthcare functions in a socially conservative country
where there is limited discussion and openness regarding ...sexual health
issues. Students will also see first-hand how cultural attitudes toward
gender equality often affect women's willingness and ability to seek
treatment or even obtain information about reproductive and sexual
health.
