Children's Hospital employees really know how to "Make the Miles
Matter." Employees who are participating in our START program also took part in the Two Cities Marathon to raise money for
the Campaign for Children's. Marathon Sponsor Eye-Q collected $2,200 from runner donations and our employees raised another $7800.… Today they presented the hospital with a really big check!

This brings the total raised in 2009 by Costcos in Visalia, Fresno, Clovis & Merced to an amazing $285,231.66! Costc…o's additional donation represents proceeds from Newman's Own food products. Paul Newman passed away 9/26/08 but his philanthropic legacy lives on as Newman’s Own Foundation donates profits it receives from the sale of Newman’s Own products to charities worldwide.
