this year was a good year for me but its not all perfect because i am dealing with a personal issue as to whether to finish school and fight to get a degree in music or just say forget it and hustle up a music career on my own. its hard for me right now even though i dont show it. its hard when teachers who are suppose to be educators can only see ... See Morewhat they want and not what can be, i guess some vision is more nearsighted than most. but either way i know i will be ok with god's help especially since he brought me from a time when i lost everything from my job, my place to live to eventually my car and this was when i felt so secure making almost 30k a year as a single woman on her own i just knew i was unstoppable but i wasnt doing what i loved which was pursue my music and finish my degree...but through all that drama i decided to reenter school with just a prayer,faith in GOD, a cousin i will love forever and my ma rooting me on miles away i didnt have a real job for a whole year and although times were rough i made it through just fine which is why i know my journey will not stop here nor will my current stepping stone become a stumbling block...when i saw you in atl w/ erro i loved your voice(especially the raw fearlessness of war) but didnt get a cd or look you up but when i recognized you again at apache and then came to lil five points to see you at moods i bought a cd and have looked at your story and body of work so thank you for this note and for inspiring a singer like me!
