- About Me:
- Senator Rogers' first campaign was in 2002, where he ran for State Representative. In an open seat, four person race, he received 53.7% of the vote, avoiding a run off. The seat represented the fine citizens in the southwest corner of Cherokee County that encompasses Towne Lake, and parts of Acworth. Two years later, then Representative Rogers successfully ran for State Senate in the same area and succeeded Robert Lamutt in the 21st Senate district. Currently, Chip represents south Cherokee and parts of northeast Cobb.
After the 2008 elections, Senator Rogers was unanimously elected by his peers as the Senate Majority Leader.
Chip Rogers is Georgia's Conservative Workhorse dedicated to preserving individual liberty, small government, and making government live within its means.
