You couldn't be more right, Chris. It's all about consent. Prostitution is a fact of human society the world over, and the only successful model for helping these people is regulation. I can only wish you the greatest success with this bill.

If there's any trade that is worth our greatest efforts to crush and destroy, it is of-course slave trafficking.

Well said Chris, prostitution is a service,so why not legalise the oldest business in every town and city, with health care thrown in. Those prostitutes in Preston Lancs have in some way tried to do this. The Law needs an assertive lean to protect sex workers.

I wonder if David's apparent isolation from the EU could be extended to the rest of us? It seems unfair that he should be the only Briton free from obligation to that gaping maw of red tape and corruption. Perhaps if people could volunteer to be subject to EU laws, rather than having the state assume we all wish to be subjects of the EU? It seems that would be the way to introduce greater democracy to the Union; by giving us the opportunity to vote against the entire institution.
