On August 29, 2009, the Duncan and Dollar family put on the 2nd Annual BBQ Rib off Dinner and Competition to support kids with diabetes. Two years ago they wanted to make a difference in the life of a child facing diabetes. In putting this great event together, they have enabled many kids to attend a diabetes sports ...camp to help them learn how to control their diabetes while being active.

Because of this event, they are helping make dreams come true to so many kids and their families. Over the past 2 years they invited many of their friends and family and over 150 families supported their cause. Donors and sponsors also stepped up and donated auction items and funds to help their effort. Through the help of these organization and volunteers the Duncan and Dollar family raised over $6000 this year.

These two families wanted to make a difference for other kids with diabetes so they decided to put a third party Fundraiser together to raise funds for diabetes which lend to this Annual event. Over the past 2 years they have raised over $ 11,000 for kids with diabetes.
