Chris you had me all excited! I thought Larry was finally going to get to see the band in action. You don't know how bad I need to see a full band show. You know I love you and your shows but a full band show is something my body needs right now. My body needs it just like oxygen. I'm low on live Push Stars shows like some people get low on iron. If I have to go in the hospital because of the deprivation will you all come see me and play for me? ;-)

Chris Trapper of The Push Stars Is hoping his songs offer some dose of reality to people. He just looked at the billboard charts, and worries that todays music is a bridge to nowhere (and also worries that he's beginning to sound like his grandfather.)

I just looked at the Billboard top 20, and I'm proud to say I don't know a single song on it, although I've heard of several of the artists. You're in good company - Bruce, U2, Green Day, and lots of other very talented people have new records out, and they're not on there, either. Radio sucks, and I don't think most people who love music spend ... Read Moremuch time listening to it anymore. Most of todays music IS a bridge to nowhere - your music, and the music of other gifted musicians is an antidote to that.

There is good music out there... you just have to spend the time to dig deep to find it. For example, go to http://www.cbc.ca/radio3 and listen commercial free really good Canadian indie/alterative music. Unfortunately, most people don't have the time or patience. They want music served to them fresh and hot which means the so-called "tastemakers" are going to peddle cheap, flimsy, mass manufactured music kibble that people continue to lap up like it's their last meal.
