It's tragic that after four years of controlling congress the dems have accomplished so close to nothing. This country needs change and we voters (if anyone actually counts our votes) are demoralized on both sides how much it seems that the single corporate party holds in in disregard and works for the benefit of their corporate masters (present ... Next year congress goes back to the repugs (is Connie still around?) and you'll only have yourself to blame (unless that's the plan anyhow so you don't actually have to accomplish anything and can blame it on others.)
Come on, Congressman. Find something meaningful to fix and fix it. The tide of gratitude from the astonished masses will likely outweigh the resentment of the vested interests.
Actually, we all love you, but you and your cohort are like a bunch of employees not working to their potential and it's resulting in a lot of pain and suffering.

I would rather see DCCC express positions on issues rather than using this space go negative against people with different positions. This "go negative" strategy did NOT work for Deeds in VA.

We have more concern over the terrorism of insurance companies, defense contractors, the prison-industrial complex, big pharma, and other special interest groups who own and pay for our political process than we do over a rag-tag group of idiots in the mountains of Pakistan.

Let corporations take care of it and they'll take care of their shareholders and we'll all be left holding the bag (do I really need to say this?) Unless you work for Goldman-Sachs the last eight years have demonstrated the limits of the 'free' market. We can behave like a civilized country or a bunch of spoiled children on a playground, corporate profits are the discriminator.
