A Buddha praying machine circuit bent and rehoused in a branch box on which I mounted the following controls: - on/off switch - momentary button loop selector - pitch control - 3 body contacts. The circuit bent machine is played through a digital delay in the HOLD mode.

Those are the best kind of scores - family garage sales are great for bendable gadgets and even found good stuff (Casio SK1, and a drum set) at ham radio gatherings

open it up, get a low rated resistor, and start shorting out contacts on the board while it's making sound. if you stumble on a pair of points that changes the sound and doesn't crash the unit, explore those points more. a lot of circuit bending is just poking around with stuff. oh, and accepting that you may break the thing in the process. ;)

Howdy - Ive also found that low value disc capacitors were useful in testing pins on my yamaha drum set. Got some really nice glitches. AND capacitors are DC blocks so you wont pass dc to the wrong pin by accident (been there did that....)
