Thanks to all who came along last night to the Victoria in Dalston, and thanks to our bands, the scary prog-boogie of the Sly Tones, the wonderful Spinster and of course our headliners the Deptford Beach Babes, who decked the stage out with palms trees, garlands and other South Pacific gew-gaws. A hearty hurrah to all who came to the Cirque tonight! What a splendid venue, eh? Shame it is to be bulldozed. Big thanks to No Cars (sadly drummerless but still beautifully surreal), to the awesome Lovely Eggs (catch them Saturday night at Club Fandango) and to the Henry Road—sorry you went on rather late, guys. And thanks to MC Fruity—whom you' can to hear all over again at The Far Pavilions on Saturday night.
