We have a wonderfully sad story, and a kitty in need of home.... First, meet Captain Morgan, a Bengal/Siamese mix with the most luxurious coat and big blue eyes.
Captain Morgan was living in luxury, getting his favorite food and all the attention he deserves, but as with everything in life, there are unexpected circum...stances. Captain's mom just discovered that her heart is failing, and the one thing most precious in her heart is her beloved Captain Morgan. Before anything 'happens', Captain's mom wants to make sure that he gets a new family. A family who will love him for the rest of his life, and take care of him just like she would. Making a decision like this is probably one hardest things for someone to do, there were definitely tears shed in admissions that day.
So here we are with tears in our eyes, and hoping that someone will fall in love with Captain Morgan just as we have. He may need to be the only furkid in the house, which will make it harder for us to find him a home, but all we can do is try....

Citizens for Animal Protection If you've got a particular dog in mind that you'd like to adopt i.e. particular breed/age liking- please stop by the shelter or call and fill out a PetMatch Card! When we have a dog that may be good for you we'll give you a call so you can stop on in and meet your new friend. Please be patient if you have very particular request, finding the perfect match for your family can take time! :)

Cookie is a 6 month old tabby who was found lost on the streets. She is great with other cats and small animals and just loves everybody. She is affectionate and playful and would be a great addition to your family.
