The Madison Chain of Lakes includes Lake Mendota, Lake Monona, Lake Wingra, Lake Waubesa and Lake Kegonsa. If you're talking to a boater or fisherman, they will just use the term "Madison Chain". These lakes are all very popular recreational lakes.
