The City of Houston and RecycleBank, in partnership with Alcoa and Texas Ins...truments, celebrate the expansion of the City’s single-stream recycling program and announce an exciting new recycling rewards program coming to Houston residents. The press conference will feature city officials, RecycleBank representatives, local businesses and community members. Representatives from RecycleBank will be on hand to answer questions and explain how the unique rewards program works. Already a success in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, as well as in 21 states and in the United Kingdom, RecycleBank allows households to earn Points redeemable at local and national retailers in exchange for recycling.
