Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg "Valkyrie" is now exhibiting worldwide. Whatever misgivings there might be about its particulars,the film is commendable in that it reaches a wider audience that otherwise would never know of the struggles and sacrifice of so many in the face of such overwhelming tyranny.

Good book although more of a study of Stauffenberg as the perfect example of heroism in the 20th century than stictly a bio. Its really good at doing what it aims to accomplish. Hoffmann's Stauffenberg is the best bio in English in my view.

It took me FOREVER to find this book five years ago! My copy is a carefully preserved and revered paperback---I'm so THRILLED that it is back in print. For me, as a Catholic, it was so much more than a strict bio...
