Clearly Rubber Stamping

Clearly Rubber Stamping Due to problems with our internet host provider, the Clearly Rubber Stamping Newsletter will be sent out hopefully tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3. A sneak peak of one of the articles is available at our blog - a dinner menu that can help you get organized and feel crafty at the same time.

Recently I decided that it was time to put together a weekly menu and thereby take away the stress of deciding each day what to cook. When I saw a planner at a friends house I immediately set out to make one. Naturally, I found a way to enhance it with rubber stamps.

Clearly Rubber Stamping Today I thought I'd bring the season outside into my craft projects. I had a lot of fun stamping the leafy background that is at the heart of this card.

Clearly Rubber Stamping I think I have some of the most fun decorating my own background scrapbook paper. It is so easy, and the colors always work because you put them there. Check it out.

It seems that each time I work with this shrink film, it curls the wrong way & creates a big mess. Any suggestions to get it not to curl?

Before placing it in the oven be sure to place a sheet of regular photocopy paper under it. When you take it out of the oven press one of your clear acrylic blocks on it while it is still warm. It is also possible that they just need to cook a little longer. My shrink plastic curls like crazy, but when it is done it lays pretty well flat, then I press it with an acrylic block to be sure it lays perfectly flat.

Clearly Rubber Stamping That was a fun card to make.... Nothing like getting ready for the holidays early this year. http://www.clearlyrubberstamping.com/card-making-ideas/snowman-silhouette

Source: www.clearlyrubberstamping.com
The tricky part of this card is creating your snowman silhouette. Simply use three circles you can trace onto a 5" tall (or shorter) piece of white cardstock. Cut out the silhouette and proceed with stamping your Christmas greeting on the body of the snowman.
