Rev. Flunder is a powerful and awesome preacher, thank God she is apart of UCC.

So wonderful. I am so proud to be a UCC minister. I was ordained by the American Baptists who I later discovered really did not want me. The United Church of Christ has been my refuge and home since 1998. It changed my life profoundly to be in such an open, inclusive, diverse family of God's people.

I am Episcopalian and I have always liked the UCC. It was a church that was involved in civll rights when I was a child and has continually sought social justice.

When i was a child I lived in Cincinnati and my pastor was Ben Herbster, who became the President of the UCC when E & R merged with Christian Churches. Dr. Herbster preached JUSTICE and it has stayed with me all my life. I now live in Palestine/Israel and am with gloal mission with the Lutheran Church and am a Presbyterian clergywoman.
