Climb For Kids
This intermediate climb is up Mt. Rainier's south face following the Camp Muir route. The climb will last 3 days and will be led by the great guides at Alpine Ascents. Beginners are welcome, but just remember that this is a VERY strenuous climb and it should not be taken lightly. Climbers should be able to carry a 50 l...bs back pack for 8 hours up to Camp Muir on day one.

It is a climb that can be easily accomplished in a single day. The climb will provide a opportunity to use your crampons as well as ice axe, and depending on the snow, there may be small rock scrambling as well.

Climb For Kids We attempted to summit Mt. Rainier in August 2007. A blizzard unfortunately got the best of us and we had to head back down the mountain. We did however, raise over $30,000!! So in that sense, we were quite successful!
