Cruise for Charity is an annual automotive event that is put together by the staff of Street Commodores magazine and a group of dedicated and tireless volunteer coordinators all over the country.
Cruise for Charity has three main aims:
*Raising money for sick kids all over Australia
*Raising awareness of the good work Sta...rlight do
*Bringing together the Commodore community in a healthy and responsible environment
Now heading into its fifth consecutive year, Cruise for Charity has grown immensely, from only 150 Commodores and $4500 in 2004; to an amazing $112,937 and more than 3500 Commodores in 2007!
Each event begins with a gathering at a central meeting point, where donations are made and entrant showbags are distributed to participating drivers. These bags normally contain an exclusive entrant tshirt and window sticker, along with plenty of other goodies donated by corporate sponsors.Read More
