Aaron How can it be that when I type in my very own zipcode for "destinations" , it doesn't come up? Has anyone had a problem with not having the correct choice to select from (whether that be a street name or a zipcode) when typing in a destination?
Keith It would be great if ALK could provide some insight into upcoming features. The iPhone Nav market is getting very competitive and if we at least had an idea of what the future will bring for CoPilot, we might not jump ship to Navigon, TomTom, etc. For example, are "speed limit" indicators and "live traffic" on the horizon? Thanks!

speed limit alerts only found it works on very Limited roads no sound alert just 40 mph sign, 40mh Speed limit did 50mph still no sound warning

For the November 01, 2009 North American map update, I was hoping to see many map updates that I've already seen on my
Garmin. No dice. The ALK map data simply doesn't match the Garmin
data unfortunately in the areas that are important to me. This month,
ALK and Garmin released a US map update within weeks of each othe...r. It
is rumored that Garmin is 1 quarter behind Navteq now. This ALK data
appears to be more like 3 or 4 quarters behind at least, based on when
I've seen fixes come through on the Garmin that are still wrong on ALK.
Jeffrey A Carpenter Just updated to the North American map updates dated 09-01-2009 through CoPilot Central. BEWARE: The map update procedure isn't very graceful, as it doesn't preserve your favorites, Home/Work definitions, imported OV2 files, routes, etc. I ended up with two sets of map data. The first was called North America (origi...nal map data, with personalized data) and the other was called NorthAmerica (new map data, without personalized data). I transfered the personalization data manually, but now several of my imported OV2 files are giving an error on startup - something about an invalid version. Why can't you just update the map data, remove the old map data, and transfer the personalization data over?
