THE Copenhagen climate change summit closed two weeks ago in confusion, disagreement and, for some, disillusionment. When the political process shows such a lack of unanimity, it is pertinent to ask whether the science behind the politics is as settled as some participants maintain.

Does anyboy remenber being in school when we were taught that we were in a mini "ice age" because of sun spots, solar flares, and other stuff beyond our control? Maybe that theory is not as popular because it does not have billions in chinese manufacturing publiizing it. Wake up people, of course the Chinese want us to take action, then all the US manufacturing will be dead.

ya know what kills me?? All these people who lead their disillusioned lives being politically correct, driving hybrids, complaining about the environment while people like me break our backs producing coal to give those people power to enjoy the cozy little fantasy worlds theve created. political correctness has weakened the once great U.S., now we are a nation of pansies who are too scared to speak the truth in fear of hurting someones feelings.

Capital Hill seems to forget, without the use of coal for electricity they couldnt look at this Bogus Health Care Reform typed up on a computer, printed out on 1000's of sheets of paper (umm what about saving the rainforest Capital Hill), and go home at night to their million dollar mansions with warm heat and warm food for their starving tummies..

Heck, even a windmill could do that! (maybe 10 of them anyhow) Of course, you would have to pay about twice as much. We NEED coal!

This is so true. So many people don't know that coal gives them their power. And the sad thing is, they really don't care.
