This past March 9th, members of the CIW & their allies converged on the capitol steps in Tallahassee to send a clear message to Florida governor Charlie Crist: it's time to commit the full power of your office to ending the plague of modern-day slavery in your state.
In addi...tion to delivering signatures to the petition urging Governor Crist to take a stand against slavery, CIW members re-enacted scenes from the latest slavery case and hosted a press conference on the capitol steps.
