TEETHING TROUBLES

What fun we have been having today! lol
We have been booking parcels through PayPal as we can get a big discount that way. All fine and dandy if you have only one box in your consignment but Heaven help you of you have two!
As there was a link saying that you could send multiple ...parcels, we thought this would be a great idea - save poor old ParcelForce lugging 23 kg about. Obviously we should have not been so caring! The link actually means that if you have sold two different items to the same person (ie not one item with multiple parts) THEN you can print multiple labels. Otherwise, it all has to go in one box.Or we can pay twice, of course!
So beware if you are using PayPal for postage purposes!

As you are probably aware, most of our items include free next day delivery. For the past year or so, we have been using TNT as our main courier. Unfortunately, the powers that be at TNT have been getting greedier and greedier : fuel surcharges, surcharges to deliver to private addresses... (the bulk of our business!) and then VAT slapped on top. We feel that they are extracting the Michael and so are now looking into alternative services.
First up is ParcelForce. They offer ParcelForce24 which appears to be broadly similar to the Express service we have been using with TNT.
We will be trying them out for the next month or so and will post the results here. In the meantime, please feel free to comment about your own experiences with ParcelForce.Read More
