Cochran-Bleckley Chamber of Commerce October 31th 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Community Fall Festival at Cochran-Bleckley Recreational Center, Free Admission. Games, Cake Walk, Bingo, Hay Ride, Face Painting, Inflatibles, Candy, Musical Entertainment. ALL FREE! Fun for all Ages. Hosted by Local Cochran Churches. Volunteers are needed. Cochran-Bleckley Chamber of Commerce The SECC holds an annual meeting in Cochran each year in March. The SECC is a family oriented club that is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of vintage Cushman motor scooters.

Cochran-Bleckley Chamber of Commerce 2 Person 18-Hole Scramble, Sponsored by Pilot Club of Cochran. Proceeds benefit the projects supported by the Pilot Club. Golf Pro, Bruce Fleisher, will be in attendance. Coffee and Donuts at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 Tournament, Lunch and Ice Cream Provided.

Ocmulgee Public Fishing Area! It is a 106 acre lake stocked with crappie, largemouth bass, bream and catfish. It is intensively managed to maximize fishing success. Due to its unique location and close proximity to the Ocmulgee River, this area offers many opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast. It is a great place f...or a family outing and has picnic tables, handicap accessible fishing piers and restrooms, and concrete boat ramps. The Public Fishing Area has free parking. There is an education building available by reservation - it can accommodate up to 60 people. It is used for school groups, church groups or scouts.
Licenses Required: Georgia Fishing and WMA (Wildlife Management Area) Licenses (need both) or a One Day Pass or Senior License or
Handicap License or a Sportsman’s License.
The Ocmulgee Public Fishing Area is located at 408 Ocmulgee PFA Road, Cochran.
Hours: Open from sunrise - sunset; seven days per week.
