I grind and brew up my Eight O'Clock first thing in the morning, and never touch it after10:00a.m. Like Kathleen, I function quite well without it, but I do enjoy a good strong cup or two at the beginning of my day. Oh, and I take it with a touch of half&half, and a half teaspoon of sugar.

I use Eight O'Clock too, it's still relatively cheap and tastes great, do you have a grind-n-brew coffeemaker or a separate grinder? I have a Cuisinart grind-n-brew, it makes delicious coffee.
