I was a Navigator on tanks and may have passed you some gas in one of the anchors. I met you once in Washington when you presented the Class Act appeal to the Supremes.
I am now retired and at age 72 have been reading as much as I can find on POWs and those POWs that have not returned.
What are your thoughts on former NC rep Bill Hendon's book "Enormous Crime"?

I remember when you came home. I remember my sister on how excited she was when your son took you as show and tell at Lewis Jr High. My dad was stationed at Eglin and I use to deliver your paper to your house. That was a great day and THANK YOU sir!!!!!!!!!!!!!
