I am sad to hear that you have had to make such a hard decision such as resigning. You are a true patriot and we need more men like you williing to represent us. May Go...d also carry your family through this and provide you all with courage, peace, wisdom, and faith. Thank you for your service on multiple levels.

I too am saddened with this news regarding your run for congress.
Recently, the Union Recorder newspaper printed a section of their paper sharing the opinions of Baldwin County civic leaders and nowhere in their statements concerning the economic situation in our area did they mention the ongoing problems at the Georgia... War Veterans Home or area veterans. It is as if veterans just don't exist.
Nor did our "civic leaders" question the President's stimulus program - or should I say the lack of one. I sense a movement of lips, but there seems to be a lack of voice!
I hope that you will prevail in your current situation.

It is great to hear of a veteran running for the House in the 12th, but you should know that there is no viable Republican Party in Baldwin County. They have a Chairman, but no meetings or any newspaper correspondence to speak of in any of the local papers that I have seen. When in doubt, just ask Val at the State GOP....
What we have in Baldwin County is a paper tiger at best. What we need is a God fearing conservative who stands on the principals Constitution as definded by our founding fathers and not on the laurels of the Obama Whitehouse.

Catherine Oh, I see you are running for office. Try this one out: ABOLISH THE EARNED INCOME TAX CREDIT AND GIVE THAT MONEY TO THE STATES TO FUND HEALTH SERVICES FOR THEIR POPULACE. i.e. Let it be what it is: charity. There is not a thing wrong with charity.
