I want to make you aware of a unique opportunity through the State Farm® Youth Advisory Board to create sustainable change in communities across the United States and Canada! The request for proposals for service-learning projects are now available at www.statefarmyab.com . Deadline is Oct 2, 2009.
To be conside...red, requests for funding must:
• Range from $25,000 to $100,000
• Be submitted online by Oct. 2
• Impact academic achievement in K-12 public education
• Focus on one of these issues:
o Natural and Societal Disaster Preparedness
o Driver Safety
o Accessing Higher Education/Closing the Achievement Gap
o Financial Education
o Environmental Responsibility
