My name is Kristen Greenawalt! I am currently taking an International Buisness Negotiations class (IBUS 458-500.) Our professor, Mr. Daniel Hernandez, assigned us the task of hostng and mediating a discussion between A&M students. Our group consists of 5 members, and we are seeking around 8 international students willi...ng to participate in a discussion we will be hosting on: **November 8, 2009 (Sun.) from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.** We will be preparing a home cooked meal of spaghetti/salad/garlic bread/dessert/etc. for the participants which will be ready to eat at 7:00pm. The first hour will be set aside for dinner and visiting, we want everyone to relax and get to know one another. During the second hour we will present a topic for the volenteers to discuss. Note: THIS IS NOT A DEBATE. We are merely trying to observe multiple perspectives on the topic at hand. The discussion group will contain 10-15 Texas A&M Students; they will be half International Students and half American Students. The discussion topic will focus around "Capital Punishment"; otherwise known as the Death Penalty. If you would be willing to participate in our discussion we would greatly appreciate it!! The actual discussion will be held at the house of a fellow group member, interested students will be provided the actual address of the discussion's location. Thanks & Gig'Em! -Kristen E. Greenawalt (kegreenawalt@tamu.edu) **Once again, I would like to stress that this WILL NOT be a debate...we want everyone to feel comfortable expressing their own opinion! =)Read More
