Every Wednesday at 7 p.m. during the Dance Festival, a lecture/performance series aims to examine the roots and meaning behind diverse dance forms followed by a detailed critique.
This informance is preceded by the spontaneous sculptures workshop, held on Tuesday, July 7 at 7 p.m. in Cossitt Gym.

Every Wednesday at 7 p.m. during the Dance Festival, a lecture/performance series aims to examine the roots and meaning behind diverse dance forms by contextualizing them in a demonstrative performance followed by a detailed critique. This workshop precedes Wednesday, July 8's informance.
Co-taught by Scott Heron and HI...JACK (Kristin Von Loon and Arwen Wilder). HIJACK and Heron share improvisational dance games from the creation of their new piece. Join us for this fun, spontaneous way of exploring movement and dance. All levels of dance experience welcome.

The workshops will introduce short choreographies based on the selected palo (theme) by the instructor, such as Bulerias, Tangos, or Seguiriyas. Open to dance lovers of all ages and abilities.
