We dropped the 20M two years ago and made it a 5M/10M. The % of people that ran the 20M was low compared to the total entrants. So, we decided to drop the 20M and add a 5M. When you look at the numbers from last year, it was a good decision.

Kyle, check out Runner's Edge of the Rockies - While not specific to Thornton/Northglenn, we do run there occasionally and have many members who live there!

Kyle, I live in the Thornton area and have for years. There aren't any running groups in the area I am aware of. However, I did join Runner's Edge of the Rockies a few years ago and had a great experience. Great people. Great support. I would highly recommend it! Good luck!

The City of Northglenn is starting a cross country program for ages 6-14. The program is part of CARA (Colorado Association Recreational Athletics) and the team competes against other agencies in the Denver Metro area and Fort Collins. Distances are 1k-5k depending on the age of the child. If you live on the Northsi...de of Denver and have a child interested please contact myself at 303-450-8899 or the Northglenn Recreation Center at 303-450-8800.Read More

I checked out there website and you can't find out where and when they run plus they have you tell them why you what to be in their running group. I try typing in why and it kept kicking me back so then I just typed in I want to run and not it is pending after review of the "owner" This the weirdest thing.

I would go and get Lasik, short of that I am partial to Smith's and Tifosi (for trail running and light sensitive lenses that change based on light conditions). Good luck!

Colorado Runner Magazine What to do with the 2010 Colorado Runner Racing Series? I am looking for feedback on how to change the series in 2010. Here are the three options. Please vote for your favorite: 1. Drop the Master's category and make the open category ages 49 and under. T

As Masters is considered 40+ (right?), I think appropriate that Option #2 be considered.

Option 2 works. Gotta keep the masters option for sure. Hell we worked hard to get there :)
