I would imagine that when people think of German sacred architecture, they would think of gothic spires and arches soaring above them.  While this is a main theme in Germany, not every church in the country is like this.  This is the exact case in Berlin.  As an overall city, Berlin is extremely ...

Aquinas and More Catholic Goods

Aquinas and More Catholic Goods We just got in a bunch of Advent Candles. These are much higher quality than the white-with-colored-shell types you find at craft stores. These are solid all the way through and only cost $5.95 for a set!

This setofrefill Advent Candles, 3 purple and 1 pink, measure 12 inches tall and 7/8 inches in diameter at the base. They are made in the U.S.A. Unlike most Advent candles, these have solid color all the way through. They aren't white with a colored shell that will crack when used.

Do you carry the battery Advent candles? We use them so we can have Advent candles lit more during the season - and we don't have to watch them or the cat.

We don't have a source for the battery powered ones because all the ones we can find are made in China.

Aquinas and More Catholic Goods I don't typically expect people with nose piercings to be the chapel veil buying type. Guess I shouldn't pre-judge.

LOL!!! God has to start with them somewhere! They probably did a lot of that sort of thing in "Old Testament times!" Wonder if one of King David's wives had one in their nose?

Is this a piece of wafer like communion that each person takes a piece of? We've had that at my daughter Chris' mom-in-law's on Christmas Eve. At Easter time it's hard boiled eggs.

Yeah, everyone gets a wafer and you share it with everyone else by breaking off a piece. My mom was Polish and she grew up doing it.
