Cheyenne Mountain Zoo One of our local stations reported that Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is closed today. We are NOT! We are open for all of those intrepid snowbirds that would like to come up and visit our winter scene. The animals are warm inside their buildings and able to be viewed. The walk between buildings and exhibits is brisk, but we ha...ve hot chocolate and coffee drinks in our Thundergod Gift Shop and Café to warm you up.
