Community Partnership for Child Development

Community Partnership for Child Development Over 230 families were adopted this winter through our Adopt-A-Family program. They were given gifts from various people, businesses and organizations based on their wish and needs lists. Contact Delberta at duvalle@cpcd.org if you would like to get involved next year.

Community Partnership for Child Development

Community Partnership for Child Development We are having our own Extreme Makeover: Home Edition! A local church group is donating their time to help a family of ours fix up their home. Even though it felt like 5 degrees with wind chill, it didn't stop them from helping out this morning.

This is a family from my program, and I can't begin to tell you how grateful they are to CPCD and the Broadmoor Community Church for making this possible - or for that matter, how grateful I am! This is a beautiful example of what is possible when we partner with families and the community. For anyone that missed it, FOX 21 aired a story on the remodel a few weeks ago: http://www.coloradoconnection.com/news/video.aspx?id=377313

Thanks for sharing this important message. Many of my friends have new babies in their lives, so you may want to take 4 mins to look at this video. I'm recently a grand aunt! :-) I also recently joined the CPCD Board.
