Sox! We got em.
I've worn them for the last two years. I have several pairs of these wonderful socks and get more comments than I could count about how cool they look. So, I decided to have them available at the Teahouse.

Columbia Kate's Teahouse Windy and rainy today. Some showers predicted for tomorrow (Wed) when the teahouse is open. Perfect Hot tea and soup weather in a cozy teahouse . Matinee Wednesdays (2pm at the Fallon House) start this week too.

Columbia Kate's Teahouse This weekend, October 10th and 11th is the Harvest Festifall in Columbia. The main street in town will be full of vendors of handmade items. Everyone will be dressed in Gold Rush period clothing for the event. Visitors are encouraged to don vintage garb as well. I'll have a booth for the teahouse with scones and antique buttons and my handmade jewelry.

Columbia Kate's Teahouse We're excited about a new dessert item we've come up with. Made-from-scratch icecream in a baked soft cookie sandwich. The sandwich is chocolate and we think you'll love it. It can be drizzled with chocolate and/or caramel.

Columbia Kate's Teahouse Dinners have been successful, with some very interesting entres created by Gary. We'll be continuing to have dinner available on Saturdays until 8 pm. Tonite we served: Old-fashioned Midwestern Runsa. A delicious yeast bread pocket sandwich filled with USDA Choice ground beef, caramelized onion & wilted cabbage. Served with garlic roasted new potatoes and baby greens - heirloom tomato salad
Columbia Kate's Teahouse Announcing the birth of a daughter for Maria & Michael Kennedy! 7:30 this morning Maria had a baby girl. The couple had been ready for a boy, so a name will be apparent as they get to know her. Maria is our chef and has been on maternity leave. (see Maria in the photos from the dessert contest)
