Mizfit at MU Met with Roger Worthington from Chancellors Diversity Initiative and Jeff Zeilenga, Asst Dir of Student Affairs yesterday. Talked about Financial Aid issues, Unplanned pregnancies, parking issues for pregnant women, Social isolation and overall mental, physical and emotional demands of adult learners. Your student voice is overwhelmningly what the administration and student gov needs to hear. Be vocal.
Mizfit at MU Met with Dr. Jim Spain yesterday, undergrad dean, he was also very receptive to all the issues and challenges facing pregnant and parenting students. He's calling a meeting with Dr. Justice, enrollment management and other admin. personnel to determine a course of action in meeting student parent needs.
