EdVenture Children’s Museum
EdVenture Children's Museum, South Carolina First Steps, and WLTX are again joining forces to present the 5th annual South Carolina Countdown to Kindergarten! This school readiness initiative provides resources, tips, advice and plenty of hands-on activities for parents and for children entering kindergarten this fall....
Students will practice getting on and off a school bus, holding lunch trays, and testing nutritious snacks. Refreshments will be on sale.
Countdown to Kindergarten is FREE and open to all incoming kindergarteners and their families.
The museum will be open (Blooming Butterflies $3 admission) and a number of family-friendly vendors will be available. More than 1,200 children, families and teachers from across South Carolina attended last year’s celebration, so your kindergartener won’t want to miss this event!
