SC Confederate Relic Room & Military Museum It's a beautiful Navy day at the Relic Room! This morning's Homeschool Friday focuses on war at sea. Volunteers from the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps will run stations for visitors, and the lecture will include an original slide show of USS Columbia images.

During World War II, the light cruiser USS Columbia participated in most of the sea battles in the Pacific theater, sustained three separate kamikaze attacks and lost 60 of its sailors.
