This year’s speaker is Catharine MacKinnon, the Elizabeth A. Long Professor of Law at the University of Michigan Law School and long-term visitor at Harvard Law School. Professor MacKinnon is an activist lawyer who pioneered sexual harassment law and, with Andrea Dworkin, recognized the harms of pornography as violatio...ns of human rights.
A book signing will follow Professor MacKinnon's lecture in the Lobby of the School of Law. Barnes and Noble Bookstore will have copies of several of Professor MacKinnon's books available for sale at the event for your convenience.
