2010 Senior
We photographed Sarah Frances' sister, Taylor, 2 years ago for her senior pictures. I remember Sarah Frances walking around wearing Sallye Anne's sunglasses and holding the reflector during Taylor's shoot...not saying too much. Wow things have changed. What a beautiful confident young lady Sarah Frances t...urned into.
She has waited two years for her senior shoot and it was worth it. Sarah Frances, her mother, Jenny, and I spent the day in Pine Mountain, GA. One of the best shots we did was having Sarah Frances climb out on a limb over the lake at Callaway. The fall colors made the shot gorgeous so it was worth the risk. Congrats also to Sarah Frances and Columbus High Cheerleading for being the runner-up in the 2009 AAA Division State Championship! Cool ring Sarah Frances

We arrived early for the Bone's session but they did have muffins waiting for me which was great! We shot on location at their home and then spent some time around historic downtown Columbus. The twins, Phoebe and Lucy, are a blast and even Allen agreed to get his picture made.
The one ...shot, that was used for their Christmas card, was perfect because Pennie, the dog, even cooperated. These are just a few images from the session with a wonderful family. Thanks again Bones...we have enjoyed spending time with yall and look forward to seeing yall again soon.

The images of Abby were made during halftime of the Alabama/Auburn game. Abby is an Alabama graduate, a world traveler (from Telluride to Thailand) a yoga instructor, and a licensed Thai massage therapist. She is also our cousin and makes a great photography subject.

Every year we photograph our 11 year old niece, Addie...in the summer and in the winter. Our first shoot was in Seaside, Florida and this winter we shot on location at my Sallye Anne's parents' home at Lake Martin, Alabama.
Addie is the coolest and she loves her new cousin, Julie Anne.... We photographed these after Auburn got out to a 14-0 lead on Alabama. It was a good luck shoot since Alabama eventually came back and won. Roll Tide for Addie!

What are the chances of back to back Bre's on the blog? Well this is Bree N, a beautiful Glenwood senior and an incredible athelete.
I was waiting the entire shoot to get to the basketball gym for Bree's pictures and to play a little bit of basketball. Bree can go from a sweet, pretty, ...quiet, girl, to an intense, competitve athlete in no time. She is a state champion in both softball AND basketball. I found that out when she showed me both state rings. Awesome.
We photographed on some farm land and then headed over to Alabama for some sports shots. After watching her play I can tell you she will throw you out at first base and you cannot leave here open for a jump shot. I usually don't get tired on a photoshoot but did almost have a heart attack playing her in the gym.
Congratulations Bree on all your success. We have enjoyed spending time with you and your family and I had such a great time on your shoot! I do have a great three point shot...right???

Breanna is a special girl and an EXTREMELY talented dancer. She and her grandmother (Annmama) wanted to have some beautiful and creative images made and we had a fun time planning her shoot. We began by scooting around on a Vespa and ended up dancing in a field near Callaway. And then I ...spent time trying to narrow down images because there were so many awesome shots of Bre. Bre and Annmama are such a special family. Bre's beauty and confidence shined through from the moment we met her. I joked that she is the tallest 5 ft 4 and 1/2 person I know. We already have another session booked with Bre and look forward to her senior portraits next year. Thanks for an awesome shoot!

Julie Anne doesn't know it yet but she may be marrying Garrett. Garrett is 4 years old and the sweetest boy.
We photographed Garrett when he was two and his eyes were just as blue...just like his mother. We were so excited when Jessie contacted us back in the summer to book the sessio...n. Jessie is the sweetest...and looks amazing too. The shoot was so much fun. Garrett is already booked to be our senior model for the class of 2023.
Jessie thank you for a wonderful photosession. Garrett is joy to photograph and we are excited to show him off on the blog and on our business cards. We love yall!

was colder than expected for when we photographed Gabby and her brother Spencer.
Gabby came home from Georiga Southern with her friend Allison and we all met bright and early for the shoot. Her mother, Monica, joined us on the shoot and we all had a blast. Spencer is 14 and needs to play... football at UGA...but the family is huge USC fans and we did some shots on the field with their jerseys.
We have had so much fun getting to spend time with the Garretts and we are shooting their family session in January. We look forward to seeing everyone and meeting Gabby and Spencer's father also.

The Braswell family has to be another one of my favorite family sessions! We met on a sunny afternoon near downtown with the main goal of getting one perfect picture for a Christmas card. But everyone looked so great...it was hard to choose the image for the card.
The kids are adorable ...and Charlie is almost the same age as Julie Anne. Anthony is a surgeon in the army and his headed overseas again soon. Lezlie is also a physician and she has a blog that she shares about her family. Anthony is a Mac user so he and I got to talk about computers and camera lenses the entire time. We may have struck a deal where he can borrow my 70-200mm 2.8 IS USM L-series Canon lens if he takes my appendix out...if I ever need it!
