I'm sure sometimes our bias takes away good judgment, but I took my girlfriend to the game last night and she had never even watched soccer before and noticed that a lot of calls were being called against the crew that were not being called on RSL. I personally think that if the MLS is to be taken in any way serious i...n the eyes of the rest of the world we need to get better referees and obviously more teams. To many times the play was stopped when it should have been allowed to play on and also on the other end of the spectrum their were so many missed calls (especially hand balls!)

I was very excited to go to my first Crew game last time but very upset at the officiating. Also very upset at the fact that I have went all this time missing these games when there was a Goalie like William Hesmer on the field. ooooo la la!!! LOL :) Thanks for a great experience guys. Phia Brown MAN!!! the first goal, dude was offside.. then that pussy call that got them a pen. kick.. bullshit. they were passing out yellow cards to crew players like it was halloween on the field. we couldnt get a hand ball call to save our life... it was worthless....Crew tried... but..i could be wrong.
