Three Cranes Grove, ADF As has become our tradition, we will hold two Summer Solstice rituals, the first on Sunday, June 21, 2009, at Blacklick Woods Metropark (a separate event notification will indicate the information on this ritual), and the second at ComFest on Sunday, June 28, 2009.

We do two rituals for this High Day because not only is... the sun worth celebrating twice anyway, but it gives us an opportunity to offer worship in two very different settings: the first is a normal, serene setting common for our rites; and the second is a chance to offer public worship to the Folk by bringing the worship to the community.

Both rites are free and open to the public. The schedules are as follows:

June 28, 2009
ComFest
At Goodale Park, prior to opening of the festival
9:30 AM Processional
10 AM Main Rite

One unique feature of ADF rituals is that we invite the folk to bring forth Praise Offerings during the ritual. Our deity for the ComFest ritual is Taranis, a Gaulish thunder god.

We ask that you please bring a canned good donation (see the Mid-Ohio Foodbank's suggested donations page for suggestions).

Finally, if you intend to volunteer at ComFest but do not have an organization to donate your time to, please think about donating your time to our Grove. Please contact us for further details.

We hope to see you there for these public rituals! Please contact us if you have questions.

Come celebrate the bright summer with us!
