Eat Ice Cream, Make Videos and Support Common Cause Jan....

During the month of January, ice cream maker Ben and Jerry's is re-launching its butter pecan flavor under the new name, "Yes PeCAN!" to celebrate Americans uniting for positive change. Some of the proceeds from the sale of this flavor in scoop shops will go to benefit Common Cause – a non-profit, non-partisan organiz...ation with a mission to hold power accountable and make sure government works for the public interest and not the special interests.
Share your Yes! Pecan video with Common Cause. Make a 30sec video holding a cone or cup of Ben and Jerry's Yes PeCAN! ice cream, saying the slogan "Yes! Pecan" and describing what kind of positive change they would like to see the Obama administration pursue.
You are encouraged to be as creative as possible. Videos taken in front of or inside of your local Ben and Jerry's are encouraged but not necessary. If you are attending Inaugural events we encourage you to shoot video there as well. Quality of video is not as important as content. Remember you do not need a video camera. If you have a cell phone, digital camera and/or computer they may have video capability.
