Conductor Jack Ii'm very excited to be playing a hometown show tomorrow (Thursday 7/2 10:00 AM) at Wiggle Time in Cookeville. Conductor Jack Hello from historic Bardstown, Kentucky. They didn't have a Starbucks back in 1780 & they still don't today. This is where Stephen Foster, Daniel Boone, Jesse James and Abraham Lincoln all converged back in the day. This is the town that inspired Foster's song, "My Old KY Home"! Conductor Jack Moms/dads/caregivers (of preschoolers) - I NEED your FEEDBACK! We're writing a country song about getting ready for preschool. So my wife Kitty just wrote a line: "IT'S TIME FOR BREAKFAST, A YUMMY MEAL, IT'S TIME TO GO SEE MY PEEPS, WHO ARE KEEPIN' IT REAL". She doesn't like that line, but I do. What do y'all think? Is the "peeps & keepin' it real" line o.k. for a preschool song? We'd LOVE your opinions? Thanks!
