I'm really happy to see how you are sharing your gifts with the families in Tennessee!
I sure miss it there and especially all my friends. I miss those fireflies you sing about too!
Conductor Jack at 3:12pm July 2
There's nothing quite like the fireflies in Tennessee. I'd chose them over Minnesota mosquitoes any day!

Mike Schoenberger Hey Jack... our family has moved to Memphis and we just saw we missed you at the library last week...

Conductor Jack
THE RACE TO 101...hi y'all. I don't really promote this page as much as I should, but I'm trying to get at least 50 new "fans" as soon as possible so I can get a reasonable page address (right now its: www.facebook.com/pages/Conductor-Jack/21 764774895). I must have 100+ fans in order to do this. I know they're out there, so please help me spread the word. As a special thank you the 101 fan gets a FREE autographed CD!
Few "children's musicians" can boast that Tom Waits and Lucinda Williams are fans of their work, or that Tiny Tim was their mentor and ukulele instructor, but then again few...
Musician:63 fans
Conductor Jack at 8:18am June 29
KITTY JUST ADDED THIS SHOCKING, LATE BREAKING NEWS...Once we reach 101 "fans" EVERYONE'S name will be included for a random drawing of another autographed CD. It's also confirmed that Olo The Donkey, Coconuts The Kangaroo and Penelope The Possum will autograph the CDs as well. So there you go: Fan #101 AND a random fan will EACH win! WOW!!! ;)

Conductor Jack Hello from historic Bardstown, Kentucky. They didn't have a Starbucks back in 1780 & they still don't today. This is where Stephen Foster, Daniel Boone, Jesse James and Abraham Lincoln all converged back in the day. This is the town that inspired Foster's song, "My Old KY Home"! Hope you all have a safe & fun weekend! PS - Kitty & I are going to Honest Abe's boyhood home after the shows tomorrow!

Cookeville friends: I just posted a new blog at: http://www.jacknorton.net/FriendlyBlog.h tml regarding the sad news at the CCM. Please take a minute to read & respond. Our thoughts & prayers are with the family of the victims. Although this crime did not occur during one of my shows at the Museum, it is on my heart & I would very much like to hear from you regarding your thoughts on child safety at my shows. Thanks!

This is a great little news clip from Upper Cumberland Daily News. It's funny, awesome, and goofy all in one! From last week's show at the Cookeville Children's Museum.

Conductor Jack Moms/dads/caregivers (of preschoolers) - I NEED your FEEDBACK! We're writing a country song about getting ready for preschool. So my wife Kitty just wrote a line: "IT'S TIME FOR BREAKFAST, A YUMMY MEAL, IT'S TIME TO GO SEE MY PEEPS, WHO ARE KEEPIN' IT REAL". She doesn't like that line, but I do. What do y'all think? Is the "peeps & keepin' it real" line o.k. for a preschool song? We'd LOVE your opinions? Thanks!
