Great article. With the power we now have in Washington, yes, our watchdog agencies must be up to tasks at hand more intently and with a sophistication of eloquence.

Unfortunately that's not how they see it. The Chinese have already said that Americans are failing with our responsibility to the World. In our position we are supposed to invent, develop and process the future technologies. Then leave the old stuff for developing countries to process and try to catch up to us. We are One World that needs to survive. This fits with Green technology, as well as, Space exploration. Personally, I don't care if they make our clothes and toys (as long as they are safe) if we tool up our factories to manufacture future technologies. Unfortunately, we should not have to have Wars to trigger development. That only results in Arms Races and lesser countries then want to develop Weapons or Nuclear devices.

Someone needs to unite because this country is so divided and ME and so many people or just SICK of it.During these trying times I thought the American people would unite,but I was wrong.

Not too many realize that the Public Insurance Option does not kick in until 2013(House) or 2014(Senate)? There is no plan to reverse the rapacious increase in premiums over the last decade. Democratic members of Congress talk in a heart wrenching manner about the suffering masses and in Obama's words "fierce urgency of now". Seems like urgency is no longer fierce and "can wait until tomorrow". Another 225,000 people will die in these five years for lack of access to Insurance. This situation should be treated like a national emergency on par with Katrina or California Wildfires.

My guess is that 40,000 additional troops will be authorized by President Obama shortly.What this means is that several of our US Army national guard and reservists will be expected to deploy into a hot zone. This is why racism and sexual harassment and retaliation in the US Army National Guard, JAG Corp, is unacceptable. On Fort Dix the focus was to target and remove qualified military officers like me, force me to retire simply because a cowardly supervisor LTC sexually harassed me, and files false petty harassment charges against through the fort dix federal enclave deputized JAG US Attorney Program when my elderly WWII vet father (Now Deceased) called to stop him. They are eager to take out qualified Blacks like me who have completed JAG Basic, JAG Advance Courses, Command and Staff General College to cover for racism in the Fort Dix New Jersey Army National Guard. No Justice No Peace! All New Jersey Army National Guard Appointments in the JAG Corp on Fort Dix are approved by Governor Corzine's team. Please let Governor Corzine, President Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder and Mr. Chris Chrisie know that racism, sexual harassment and retaliation is not tolerated in the US Army National Guard JAG Corp. The JAG Corp sets the tone for acceptable conduct and ethics and Rules of Engagement for all soldiers. Please support the Federal Investigation I have requested to be launched by the Office of the US Attorney's Ethics and Civil Rights Division in Washington DC prior to Mr. Holder's Tenure. Please request that President Obama insist that the T-JAG's office at the Pentagon fully relooks at why the LTC Supervisor in the new jersey national Guard got away with coercing me to accompany him to a Museum Tour in 2003 while he and I were deployed in Germany in 2003, and after I refused his sexual advances, he took this out on my Evaluation and attempted to force me to deploy in place of his two personal friends, to war zones who were bothin positions that were stoplossed by the 42nd Infantry Division, and refused to deploy because they felt they would lose money from their law practice.
