Ok Pat - I just read all comments. New to this facebook stuff. You are correct in that Congressman Moran cannot take Senator Lieberman's Chaimanship but it makes my blood boil to see Lying Lieberman's name - especially compared to Mr. Moran, one of the few politicians with guts and the integrity to do the right thing by us no matter the political cost.

250,000 will not take place of parents doing their job. How much money can we get to train parents?

Believe me Steve, Northern Virginia is pretty backwards here.

A large number of voters in Northern Virginia are federal employees. Still, Congressman Moran voted in support of the Bush program that implemented a rating system known as PARS that was intended to remove employees. In addition, it was enhanced by a Republican push to oust federal employees.

Federal jobs are not secure and this idea is becoming more mythical, as discrimination is on the increase throughout the federal government. The violations taking place are include racial, disability discrimination and more, all of which eat up tax dollars. Definitely not the way to treat our troops or civil servants, especially when the average federal employee makes much less than the private employee.

The time has passed to get off the Bush track. Return to the system used in the previous generation. It worked efficiently... Read More

Speaking as an Arlingtonian, I second Steven Zimmerman's motion.

If every congressman were as intelligent, hard-working, conscientious, and involved with his community & his constituency as Congressman Moran is this government would be immeasurably better. We are very, very fortunate to have him as our rep. Bite it, Andrew.

Appreciate your support for an organization which does so much good for famalies in the Greater Falls Church area.
