Consortium of Boston Area Children's Theatres
The Consortium of Boston Area Children’s Theatres presents the 2000 Children’s Theatre Festival: a day-long event featuring shows, educational theatre workshops, improvisational comedy, and the chance to experience and celebrate live children’s theatre.

This non-competitive festival brings together Boston-area childre...n’s theatre companies to perform an artistic variety of diverse performances suitable for audiences of all ages.

Performances Include:
“You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” by Concord Youth Theatre (10:00am)
“A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court” by Watertown Children’s Theatre (12:00pm)
“42nd Street” by Riverside Theatre Works (1:30pm)
“Taming of the Shrew” by Arlington Children’s Theatre (3:30pm)
“Improv Soup!” by Un-Common Theatre Company (4:30pm)

Workshops are at 11:00 and 2:30, by the Arsenal Center for the Arts, Arlington Children’s Theatre, Concord Youth Theatre, the Young Company at Stoneham Theatre, and the UnCommon Theatre Company.



This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy a taste of local children’s theatre, and will be enjoyable for everyone who appreciates talented young actors with a passion for creativity. See, and network with, some of the best talent from local children’s theatre companies all together on one stage for one day.

The event will be held on Saturday, July 18th, with the first show beginning at 10.00am. Each show will be between 45 minutes to an hour long with a total of six workshops offered between shows.

The festival will be held in the Mosesian Theater at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in Watertown, MA.

Advance ticket purchase is suggested and will be rewarded by entry into a drawing for a Bouquet of Tickets from all the participating Theatre Companies.

Tickets can be purchased for the full day (all shows & workshops) for $20, or for each individual show for $5. Entry to workshops requires the purchase of any show ticket.
